THE CLIENT: SUNEKOS LABORATORIES

Sunekos Laboratories are an aesthetic division of Professional Dietetics – an Italian R&D company that specialises in amino acid-based formulas for medical use. They launched in the UK in 2018. Their R&D is to exploit amino acids’ biological diversity and synergy with Hyaluronic Acid to restore skin health and its physiological balance that acts against the process of ageing in a natural way and respecting your natural face contour.

Sunekos Laboratories are committed to providing physicians with effective, safe, non-surgical aesthetic treatments for their patients.

WHY THE CLIENT NEEDED OUR HELP:

The company had no presence in the UK.

HOW THEY MANAGED THEIR ISSUE (PRIOR TO SEEKING OUR HELP):

They had signed exclusive distribution rights to Medfx (a national aesthetics consumables retailer) who were already an existing client of ours. This therefore became an issue for Medfx to deal with.

HOW THE PROBLEM MANIFESTED ITSELF:

They would need to hit targets set by the head office. Failure to do this successfully would impact future relationships/deals between Sunekos and Medfx, e.g., launching more products in the UK.

LENGTH OF ISSUE:

Not applicable as this was a new product launch.

WHAT INSTIGATED A DESIRE TO SEEK OUR HELP?

The fear of Medfx damaging their relationship with Sunekos and the desire to have brand exposure in the UK.

HOW DID WE DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM?

As a result of our research, we identified the importance of targeting aesthetic professionals and getting them on board with the product. We ran a series of social media ads that offered training in a new exciting treatment at venues throughout the UK. We also implemented the online booking calendar for those training sessions. Second to this, we developed an online clinic finder that UK beauty salons could register with. Once this had been set up, we then ran a series of ads to UK beauty consumers, which then referred clients to salons that were registered onto the clinic finder.

THE RESULT:

We generated in excess of 1,500 leads from UK salons interested in becoming a Sunekos treatment provider and Sunekos has now become a highly desirable treatment. A measure of our success is that if you now mention the name ‘Sunekos’ to any UK-based clinic, they will have heard of it, resulting in the desired exposure of the brand.
